This month most colorful festival in Sydney will be Festival of the Winds. Head to Bondi beach on 11th of September to see lots of kits in the air. One event I would recommend to visit  is Art &#38; About Sydney.  Art &#38; About starts on 23rd of September with free 10th birthday party in Martin Place. Come and join it. A lot of different events and exhibitions will be happening during next month. Check it here for full list of venues. What’s on in Sydney in September, 2011 is a post from: Travel Tips<p><a

According to NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service whale numbers are up about 10% and almost 1000 whales were seen passing Sydney. It is highest whale count since Australia banned commercial whaling in the 1960s.  Here is chart of whales seen on whale watching tours in Sydney during last three months: During peak migration in June numbers looks much better then it was last year. Except one week, but it is not because was no whales. The sea was a little bit rough and some whale watching tours were canceled because of weather. I think everybody is expecting perfect whale watching season in October/November. Above whale sightings are taken from this page www.whalewatchingsydney.net/whale-sightings.
