  1. Good news! Batu caves was my favourite attraction in KL, took me a while to find the right bus to get to it. I fear it might become a bit more crowded if it’s made easier to access though with it’s own KTM line.

  2. Hmm, just tried to take this train today and it was over an hour late before we gave up and decided to do something else. Maybe tomorrow morning we can try again by taxi.

  3. oh..Did they announce what was wrong? Because it should be a train every 30 minutes.

  4. Cool, good to know for my next future visit. Never got a chance to get there last year.

  5. THANKS for this! Very helpful. Will be visiting very soon.

    1. have a good trip Fiona

  6. Was in KL last year but missed Batu Caves due to other schedules. Thnx for this short tips to get to BC. Cheers!

  7. I am thinking of visiting KL Feb.10-12. I arrive from Europe in Singapore 9thfeb. & would travel 10th to KL. Would it be cutting things fine & taking into consideration jetlag 🙂 by going to KL for a couple of days? I leave Singapore late on the 13/02 so need to be back in time. Would taking the bus be reasonable time-wise?

I am interested in the Batu Caves & other signts in KL city (Petronatowers etc.) due to time limitations. I am interested in good street markets (clothes, nic-naks)& temples to see.

Does anyone have any recommendations? i would like tostay in a neat, modest hotel. Hostels wont cut it after 25hrs travel! Any help appreciated.

    1. Hi Lalita,

I was staying at Citrus Hotel (http://citrushotelkl.com)
It nice hotel and good location for commuting around the city.

Now you can purchase tickets for petronas twin towers in advance:
